Community

A free space to ask questions, read attorney-written legal guides, and attend live webinars — open to all FRITH clients.

What is the FRITH Community?

The FRITH Community is a free, moderated online space for clients to connect, share experiences, access free legal resources, and learn from attorneys. It is not a substitute for legal advice — but it is one of the best places to understand your rights, find others who have faced similar situations, and get oriented before engaging an attorney.

All FRITH clients have free access to the community as part of their account. No separate subscription is required.

What is available in the community

Discussions

Post questions, share your experience, and get peer support from other FRITH users. Discussions are organised by practice area (immigration, employment, family law, etc.). Community moderators monitor for accuracy and FRITH attorneys occasionally jump in on popular threads.

Legal guides

A growing library of plain-language legal guides written by licensed attorneys. Guides cover common situations: how to respond to a debt collector, what to do if you receive a summons, understanding your tenant rights, starting an LLC, and more. All guides are free to read and download.

Attorney Q&A threads

A searchable archive of thousands of legal questions that FRITH attorneys have publicly answered. If your question has been asked before, there is a good chance it is already answered here. Useful before subscribing to the Ask a Lawyer Q&A service.

Events & webinars

Free live legal education sessions hosted by FRITH attorneys. Topics rotate monthly and include practical subjects like "Understanding your credit rights", "How to contest a wrongful termination", and "Estate planning basics". Sessions are recorded and added to the archive.

Community guidelines

The FRITH community is a supportive, moderated space. To keep it useful for everyone:

  • Be respectful and constructive — personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory language will result in removal.
  • Do not share personal identifying information (case numbers, full names, addresses) in public posts.
  • Community responses are peer support, not legal advice. For legal advice, use Ask a Lawyer or Find a Lawyer.
  • Do not advertise services, solicit clients, or post promotional content.
  • Report inaccurate or harmful content using the flag button on any post.

Finding past webinar recordings

All past webinars are recorded and available in the Events & Webinars section under the Archive tab. Recordings are available within 24 hours of the live session ending. You do not need to have attended the live session to watch the recording.
