Installation & Setup
Download, install, and configure the FRITH mobile app on iOS or Android.
Step-by-step setup

Download from the App Store or Google Play
Search for FRITH in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Tap Get / Install. The app is free to download — your subscription is managed via the web app.

Launch and choose your sign-in method
Open FRITH after install. Tap Sign in with Email, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Microsoft. Use the same provider you use on the web app — mixing providers creates separate accounts.

Enter your credentials
For email/password: enter your FRITH email and password. For Google/Microsoft: you will be redirected to the provider OAuth screen. Grant the requested permissions and you will be returned to FRITH.

Grant notification permissions
When prompted, tap Allow to enable push notifications. This is required for deadline reminders, client messages, and payment alerts. You can customise which notifications arrive in Settings → Notifications.

Grant camera access
Tap Allow when asked for camera access. The FRITH mobile scanner uses the camera to capture and auto-crop paper documents directly to matter files. Camera access is optional if you do not use the scanner.

Set up biometric login (optional but recommended)
Tap Enable Face ID / Touch ID (iOS) or Enable Fingerprint / Face Unlock (Android) on the security prompt after first sign-in. Biometric login bypasses the password screen on subsequent launches — you will still need your password after a device restart.

Wait for initial data sync
On first launch FRITH downloads your matters, contacts, and recent activities. This takes 10–60 seconds depending on your firm's data volume and connection speed. A progress bar is shown at the bottom of the screen.

- 2 GB RAM minimum (4 GB recommended)
- 150 MB free storage
- Google Play Services required
- Fingerprint or face unlock for biometric
FRITH Clients app
There are two separate FRITH apps:
- FRITH (for attorneys and staff) — full practice management, the app described in this guide.
- FRITH Clients — simplified client portal for your clients. Share the invite link from a matter's Client Portal tab. Clients download the app separately.
